this is because you specified "false". It turns off WYSIWYG mode

Closed Issue: Extra spaces and returns when switching between source/editor [6300]

I am getting some extra spaces and enter keys that the user is not entering when switching to source /editor

Also, when selected text and apply color, bold, etc, sometimes I am getting extra bbcode tags in the middle

like [b]my text[/b] [b][/b]

Kind of weird.

1. After having typed some lines and hitting the list button, the whole entered text so far becomes part of the list, but only the last line should
2. After creating a list, ending it and typing another couple of lines and then starting a new list, the whole text in between that last and new list again becomes part of the list

thats because IE inserts line-breaks as <p> other browsers as <br>. We had to "hack" IE behaviour so it also adds <br> but now it handles LISTS weirdly. Not sure what to do, looking into this

There is iframe issue with this editor.

If you type: <iframe src="http://www.google.com">
you'll get iframed google page in textarea.
When you switch to WYSIWYG editor you'll get: </body></html>

You cant write script text like:

This editor will remove all the text.

Another bug:
when you type something in textarea with many new lines and switch bbcode -> wysiwyg again you'll get <br /> instead new lines.

I found simple fix.
In function bbcode2html() find
while(sc!=content)
}
and replace with:
while(sc!=content)
rep(/\</gi,"<");
rep(/\>/gi,">");
}
